How can I book a vehicle?
You can book a vehicle using your app or from the web portal. Choose a vehicle from the map and book it.
How do I start my rental?
When you are in front of the vehicle, you can open it with the app by using Bluetooth or typing in the number plate. The system, after checking the availability of the vehicle, opens the car doors and let you start your journey. You will find the keys inside the vehicle.
What should I do if the car does not open?
Make sure is the vehicle you have booked by checking the registration number. If the problem persists, call the Call Centre.
What should I do if I have to park the car?
Once you have started the vehicle drive it normally. If you have to stop, lock the car and take the keys with you.
How do I end my rental?
Once you have completed your journey you can release the vehicle, switch off the car and check that everything is in order. Leave the keys in the glove compartment, check that the windows are closed, exit the vehicle and make sure you lock the doors. From the app you perform the return operation which will remind you of the closing operations and close the car by using Bluetooth. Wait until the car is closed.
Where can I drop off my vehicle?
When you finish your rental, leave the vehicle in the same car park of departure or, in case of One-Way booking, in the arrival car park chosen during the booking process.

What should I do if the car does not lock?
Check that you have locked your car, that you are in the release areas marked in blue on the map and that you have left the keys in the vehicle. If you have problems call the Call Centre.
What should I do if I no longer need the car I have reserved?
Use the app or the web portal to cancel your reservation.
What do I need to do to register for the service?
Registering for the service is easy. The only information required is:
- A valid driving licence for the category of vehicle to be hired, valid for at least one year from the date of first issue
- An active e-mail address
- Your mobile phone number to send you profile or rental information
- Credit card (no debit or prepaid cards)
Personal belongings
If you find an object in your car that you want to hand over to Car Sharing Roma, send an e-mail to carsharing@romamobilita.it indicating your name, surname and telephone number. One of our operators will contact you to arrange the delivery of the found objects.
Can I book several vehicles at the same time?
No, you can only book one vehicle at a time. This is to facilitate the community, as these vehicles are shared.
Do the vehicles in the fleet have manual or automatic gearboxes?
All the vehicles in the fleet have a manual gearbox, with the exception of
the full electric vehicles Peugeot 208e and Nissan e-NV200, with an
automatic gearbox (the only vehicles authorised to access the A1 - Tridente
Traffic Zone).
How can I get in touch with the customer service?

What happens if the payment for the service is not successful?
If we are unable to collect the amount due, your account will be temporarily blocked and you will not be able to make any further bookings. You will receive an email notification about this. A new debit attempt will be made every day. Please check your credit card details in your personal profile and correct them if necessary.
What are the possible causes of the booking failure?
It is possible that the vehicle you want to book is not available because it was booked by another customer or is out of service.
Can I change my personal data or my e-mail address?
The personal data you entered when you registered with Car Sharing Roma can be changed by accessing your Personal Area and your Account from the website or from the App.
To change your e-mail address, just log into your Account and click on the edit icon that will open the 'Edit account e-mail' window.
You will be asked to enter your new e-mail address in the field provided and confirm the operation. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail at your old address and an activation e-mail at your new address.

If the application does not respond, what can I do?
Check the data coverage of your device. If the problem persists, close and reopen the application.
If the application is still not responding and you have an active reservation, contact Car Sharing Roma Customer Service, to avoid being charged for any reservation costs related to the technical problem.
